In the cover feature of our biggest issue yet, film curator Bradford Nordeen pays tribute to transgender punk icon Jayne Country and the stars of City of Lost Souls, Rosa von Praunheim’s underseen and over-the-top Berlin musical. Our cover film is Frank Ripploh's autobiographical Taxi Zum Klo (1980), an extraordinary debut chronicling his dual life as Berlin schoolteacher and sex "hunter" which he discusses in a fascinating, candid interview, translated and published here for the first time.
